O.P.I is available in S.A so be sure to grab some. I'm loving the yellow and it goes with this seasons must have- BOLD colours. These colours are the rage in Tokyo and although they arn't neon they have that neon-rock vibe to them. BOLD's are the new black xoxo

IHEARTDBN STREET STYLE

Ok so she's my friend but she looked so cool at VIDA E cafe that i had to catch her on camera.
Ashleigh sports the ultra hot gladiator sandles, these ones are specifically cool because they go all the way up the shin. Unfortunately not all of us can be globe trekkers like her but these are from a recent trip to Ibiza. Her glasses are turtle shell Rayban wayfarers, and she pairs these accessories with a grey and black vest-dress. FABULOUS!!!

Gladiator sandles havn't made an appearence on S.A markets yet but keep your eye out cause they should be making one BIG TIME, hopefully in the near future.

Lindsay Lohan Is The Face Of Ethical Fashion?

"Lindsay Lohan has agreed to become the face of “Visa Swap” — a pop-up shop of sorts happening this summer in London’s Convent Gardens. The whole idea is to get people to bring their old used clothing to the swap in return for Visa points (based on the value of their swag). A few weeks later, people can then return to trade their points in for others’ second-hand items. Any of the clothing that fails to sell will be donated to TRAID, a British organization that raises money to support communities in developing countries by recycling clothing through its network of stores.
For her part, Lohan will be appearing in a series of ads for the campaign dressed in vintage clothing. Supposedly, we’ll see the shots in June — but don’t expect the partying-actress with a personal wardrobe rarely worn twice to suddenly go “green” with fashion. We see a paycheck behind this move rather than anything of real substance."

STEAL HALLE'S STYLE

Whats not to love about Halle Berry - she's stylish, talented, successful, beautiful and damn does she look good pregnant! Pregnant nog al, here she sports the the very trendy Maxi dress. Maxi dresses are perfect for almost all figures and are so hot at the moment. They are romantic and cool and because of their length they can look not only comfortable and casual for day but elegant and formal for night.

Max Institute of Fashion has helped us steal her style with the almost replicated silk, printed maxi dress they have for sale at the moment. Unfortunately i'm having trouble putting the picture of it up but it comes in two colours and like Halle you can wear it with a simple pair of Havianna's - available at YDE, and a laid back beachy bag. So there you have it, Halle's style without MAXING out the credit card!!!!

WOULD YOU MY AMERICANA GIRL?

If any of you have seen Chanel's Spring/Summer 2008 collection, you would have picked up on lots of red, navy and white and lots of striped and star prints. This is the Americana trend that is a must have look this season. It is also easy to source because the the prints and colours are pretty common. I found two pieces I love from a shop in Durban called the Waredrobe. Waredrobe is situated next to the 'Corner Cafe' in Glenwood and is a must see, featuring many local designers like 'Soul Skin'. The shop boasts unique and few of the same items (always a bonus to the everyday fashion goddess).

The items i saw there where perfect accessories to be someone's Americana girl - a straw fadora with a stripped,navy and white band and a navy and white star scalf. Both fadora's and scalves are the perfect items to have in your closet because they change a drab outfit into a trendy one with hardly any effort- "Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize" my mother always says. Both items were reasonably priced and can be mixed in lots of variations. So pair this fadora and/or scalf with a great pair of dark, skinny jeans, a white vest, red cardigan and tan bag to get the look with the greatest of ease, or be more daring and get yourself a pair of red skinny jeans from 'The Max Institute of Fashion' in Gateway and a navy cropped jacket "AND LETS GET DOWN IN LONDON TOWN".

Rozanne just recently appeared in fashion week and will be showing at the Durban july. If anyone spotted her in the Daily News yesterday you will see what an acomplished designer she is, i am glad to also call her a friend.
